Why Unionblade?

Union made knives are hard to find. In fact, there are only two union made knife manufacturers in the United States, Cutco and Utica. We are the only place that represents BOTH.

Cutco was founded in 1949, is union made, and all of the material for the knives are sourced from the United States - no foreign parts. All of their products are backed by a forever guarantee , which means that your gift of Cutco will be cherished for generations. Most people don't have any good knives, so the one or two knives that they do get from you will be appreciated for decades to come.

About John

John started selling Cutco in 2004, and has been working with unions since 2018. He was familiar with the union community, as his dad was a retired member of IBEW Local 292. However, it wasn’t until he was reintroduced to the unions by the Fair Contracting Foundation in MN that he discovered there just weren't that many union-made knife options to choose from. Since then, he has focused his efforts on providing the unions with high quality, union-made knives.

John represents both union made knife companies, Cutco and Utica, and only sells union made knives, direct from the manufacturer.
‍
He resides in rural Minnesota with his family. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting and forestry management with his chainsaw. He usually works from his home-office, but you will also find him behind the Cutco booth at several of the national union events.
